The worlds most expensive suites to open at Paris Hotel Le Bristol

Paris-Hotel-Le-Bristol-1.jpgLuxury Paris Hotel Le Bristol is synonymous with luxury and has forever boasted of a exclusive celebrity patrons, including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio and Natalia Vodianova. Catering to the whims and fancies of these over-the-top luxury clientele, the property is set to unveil a $33 million revamp that includes the unveiling of an ultra-luxe penthouse. The penthouse is expected to become one of the most expensive hotel suites in the world, a position held by The Royal Penthouse Suite, President Wilson Hotel for many years. The new 2,583-square-foot, two-bedroom suite will cover the entire eighth floor and will feature incredible view of the rue de Faubourg Saint Honor and the famed Le Bristol gardens-the largest of any Parisian hotel. The French-style Le Bristol Spa is also expected to double in size to include ten treatment rooms. And its signature, Michelin three-star Gastronomic Restaurant will move into one permanent space, no longer shifting seasonally. While a price has not been disclosed yet, we expect it to go beyond the $65,000 figure, currently the rate of The Royal Penthouse Suite, in order to take home the Worlds Most Expensive Suite title. Remember TikTok and LunaTik , the iPod Nano conversion project we showed you on the crowd-sourced funding site KickStart? Well today we've got another timepiece project for you, also currently being featured on Kickstart. The Haptica is an innovative timepiece that indicates time using braille. The dots actually rotate on the face of the Haptica and as found and designer David Chavez puts it, represent a major step forward in timepieces for the visually impaired. If the project reaches its $150,000 capital goal, produciton will begin and each will cost around $250. Currently, Haptica has 24 backers and $13,085 secured, so we need to get some major support going here!
