The worlds most expensive suites to open at Paris Hotel Le Bristol

Paris-Hotel-Le-Bristol-1.jpgLuxury Paris Hotel Le Bristol is synonymous with luxury and has forever boasted of a exclusive celebrity patrons, including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio and Natalia Vodianova. Catering to the whims and fancies of these over-the-top luxury clientele, the property is set to unveil a $33 million revamp that includes the unveiling of an ultra-luxe penthouse. The penthouse is expected to become one of the most expensive hotel suites in the world, a position held by The Royal Penthouse Suite, President Wilson Hotel for many years. The new 2,583-square-foot, two-bedroom suite will cover the entire eighth floor and will feature incredible view of the rue de Faubourg Saint Honor and the famed Le Bristol gardens-the largest of any Parisian hotel. The French-style Le Bristol Spa is also expected to double in size to include ten treatment rooms. And its signature, Michelin three-star Gastronomic Restaurant will move into one permanent space, no longer shifting seasonally. While a price has not been disclosed yet, we expect it to go beyond the $65,000 figure, currently the rate of The Royal Penthouse Suite, in order to take home the Worlds Most Expensive Suite title. Well today we've got another timepiece project for you, also currently being featured on Kickstart. The Haptica is an innovative timepiece that indicates time using braille. The dots actually rotate on the face of the Haptica and as found and designer David Chavez puts it, represent a major step forward in timepieces for the visually impaired. The Eterna Kon Tiki Concept Diver: A True Modern Classic, For Sale

In the popular (read: crowded and too often boring) dive watch market it seems that some of the most popular recent ( and upcoming ) releases have been trips down horological memory lane. One such stand out of 2010 was the reissue of the 1973 Kon Tiki Super , from Eterna, a great brand with a long history (they founded ETA before selling it to the Swatch Group). The Eterna weve found for you today was first seen in 2005 and is also called a Kon Tiki. Say hello to the radically styled and technically impressive Kon Tiki Concept diver. Its most notable feature is its flip out case; the PVD titanium container pivots out from the skeletonized steel bridge. Why go to all this fuss? Well, aside from being pretty nifty in its own rights, its all about the bezel.
