Just Because: Some Lives Photos Of MB&F's Horological Machine No. 2

As we told you two weeks ago, 2011 is the final year of production for the HM2 from MB&F. In Geneva, we got to play with and photograph the two "Final Edition" HM2's that really are an excellent curtain call for Max Bsser's second machine under his eponymous label, as well as see some of the earlier iterations of No. 2.

This post isn't about information - you know everything there is to know about HM2 (see the Final editions here, the Silberstein collaboration here, the original Sapphire Vision here, the "Only Watch" by Sage Vaugn here, and the originals in HD video here), it's more about marveling at what we think is one of the coolest modern pieces haute horology out there. What you see below are the two final editions in sapphire (both $98,000), a rare ceramic and titanium HM2 ($74,000) and finally the ori! ginal wh ite gold HM2 with black dials (also $74,000).
