Meet James at RS Academy: not just any other fun club

RS Academy makes racing supercars as simple as playing with Micro Machines just quite a bit more exciting. Which, with regard to the past years news of some of our favorite toys foul habit of malfunctioning with various degrees of carnage ensuing, is looking more and more like a very appetizing proposal. Our friends down in Marbella at the members only Ascari race track have boiled down the supercar concept to its most essential core: the thrill of the ride.

Just show up and seat yourself in one of the clubs many muscular offerings, strap yourself in and enjoy one of the worlds premier racing tracks. The fleet, as RS Academy likes to call it, was recently fitted with the new Ascari KZ1R GT3 along with some eye-catching weapons of mass seduction: A Caterham Superlight R500, a Noble M600 and a Ferrari 458 to name but a few. This friday, the season premier will be held at their own superyacht followed by a cracking launch party at the 5* Puerto Romano Hotel. Modesty is recommended as Saturday is Race Day, beginning at 9.30 AM. JamesList will be there, desperately trying to our jaws off the floor in an unsuccessful manner.

Oh and by the way: RS have a big surprise in store which weve just caught glances of, to be showcased at the event. Check back in for more details. In the meantime, check out the Noble M600 being raced on the track.

The new piece allows the writer to change between fountain pen, ballpoint and pencil with a unique bayonet attachment. Like the original Explorer pen, it also has a luminous ring in the cap to make it easier to locate in the dark. Introducing the Haptica Braille Watch, Now Get Donating!

Is it us or are there a whole bunch of great new watch designs coming out these days? Remember TikTok and LunaTik , the iPod Nano conversion project we showed you on the crowd-sourced funding site KickStart? Well today we've got another timepiece project for you, also currently being featured on Kickstart. The Haptica is an innovative timepiece that indicates time using braille. The dots actually rotate on the face of the Haptica and as found and designer David Chavez puts it, represent a major step forward in timepieces for the visually impaired. If the project reaches its $150,000 capital goal, produciton will begin and each will cost around $250. Currently, Haptica has 24 backers and $13,085 secured, so we need to get some major support going here!
