Oceania Cruises' newest luxury ship Marina embarks on maiden voyage

Ocean-Cruises-Marina-Ship.jpgOceania Cruises sure know how to christen a new ship in style. Their newest offering is the Marina, a ship with many firsts. The ship is said to have on board the Bon Apptit Culinary Center, which is said to be the first hands-on cooking school at sea, alongside Master Chef Jacques Ppins first namesake restaurant at sea. The master suite is furnished by Ralph Lauren with the accommodations by designer Dakota Jackson and Lalique grand stairway. The ship with a capacity to hold 1,250 guests will also offer the Wine Spectator wine program, and house 10 dining venues 6 of which offer open seating gourmet food. Apart from that the ship will also have a huge collection "of bars and lounges, a full-service Canyon Ranch SpaClub and fitness center, swimming pool and hot tubs". The Mariana started her maiden voyage from Barcelona on the 22nd of January, will complete a 13 day trip before crossing the Atlantic and heading to Miami where she will be christened on the 4th of February.
