Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 Lady Watch

While the long rectangle shaped case is often flattering on wrists, it is hard to make one larger in size that classical dimensions might allow. The solution for todays interest in larger timepieces is to put the rectangle on its side offering the same shape, but length-wise. Girard-Perregaux has taken this concept into considerations a few times, and continues it with the new Vintage 1945 watch for women only this time the watch isnt super large. The Vintage 1945 for women is in an 18k rose gold case and 34mm by 23mm wide case. The bezel is lined with 70 diamonds. A steel version of the watch is also available.

The dial is deeply engraved with a sunburst texture and has two diamond hour markers. There are also two other hour markers in 18k rose gold to match the gold hands. A subsidiary seconds dial and the date makes this version feel more functional than the simple two-hand model. Inside the watch is a Girard-Perregaux made GP2790 automatic movement. Attached to the watch is a white alligator strap. It makes for a timeless, conservative good look. This specific model will be limited to just 50 pieces.
