Awesome watch

Check out the new Tag Heuer Carrera Mikograph which was just unveiled by Calibre11, a leading blog dedicated solely to the brand. I must say I am pretty excited about this watch. To see it on the screen is one thing it looks awesome but to see it in action will be another! Reason is that the watch measures time to 1/100th of a second via the main seconds hand (blue). This means that the blue hand makes its way around the dial one time per second and showing you time elapsed to the nearest 1/100th quickly and easily. Its almost like having a stopwatch on your wrist! Very cool. Also interesting is that there appear to be 2 balance wheels in the movement dont think I have ever seen that before! A design worthy of well-heeled mountain climbers and adventurers, the limited edition Dunhill Sentryman Explorer II pen comes with a hidden compass, flashlight and interchangeable 18-karat gold fountain, ballpoint and pencil foreparts. The new piece allows the writer to change between fountain pen, ballpoint and pencil with a unique bayonet attachment. Like the original Explorer pen, it also has a luminous ring in the cap to make it easier to locate in the dark.     Introducing the Haptica Braille Watch, Now Get Donating!

    Is it us or are there a whole bunch of great new watch designs coming out these days? Remember TikTok and LunaTik , the iPod Nano conversion project we showed you on the crowd-sourced funding site KickStart? Well today we've got another timepiece project for you, also currently being featured on Kickstart. The Haptica is an innovative timepiece that indicates time using braille. The dots actually rotate on the face of the Haptica and as found and designer David Chavez puts it, represent a major step forward in timepieces for the visually impaired. If the project reaches its $150,000 capital goal, produciton will begin and each will cost around $250. Currently, Haptica has 24 backers and $13,085 secured, so we need to get some major support going here!
