Orrery restaurant, Marylebone Village - Review

Situated just 5 mins walk from the bustling Baker Street tube youll stumble across one of Londons original, quaint villages. Marylebone village is lined with high end boutiques and personality, which oozes class at every turn. Orrery (an exclusive d&d restaurant) fits right in here and is situated near the top of the High street above its very French delicatessen on the ground floor.

We arrived at 6.30 where there was a wine tasting class going on downstairs, we were half tempted to join in it looked fantastic fun. Having pulled ourselves away, we headed up to the restaurant and were greeted by an incredibly enthusiastic team of people. In terms of first impressions, the restaurant has a unique welcoming ambience to it, maybe its the lighting, maybe its the acoustics, possibly the delicious smells that greet your nostrils when you arrive or maybe its knowing that you are in for a right royal treat that d&d restaurants are renowned for consistently delivering!

Limited edition Dunhill Sentryman Explorer II pen

A design worthy of well-heeled mountain climbers and adventurers, the limited edition Dunhill Sentryman Explorer II pen comes with a hidden compass, flashlight and interchangeable 18-karat gold fountain, ballpoint and pencil foreparts. The new piece allows the writer to change between fountain pen, ballpoint and pencil with a unique bayonet attachment. Like the original Explorer pen, it also has a luminous ring in the cap to make it easier to locate in the dark. Introducing the Haptica Braille Watch, Now Get Donating!

Is it us or are there a whole bunch of great new watch designs coming out these days? Remember TikTok and LunaTik , the iPod Nano conversion project we showed you on the crowd-sourced funding site KickStart? Well today we've got another timepiece project for you, also currently being featured on Kickstart. The Haptica is an innovative timepiece that indicates time using braille. The dots actually rotate on the face of the Haptica and as found and designer David Chavez puts it, represent a major step forward in timepieces for the visually impaired. If the project reaches its $150,000 capital goal, produciton will begin and each will cost around $250. Currently, Haptica has 24 backers and $13,085 secured, so we need to get some major support going here!
