MB&F rolls out the final editions of HM2 chronographs

HM2-chronographs-1.jpgIt time to bid adieu to the HM2! After three years, of success, MB&F have decided to lay the Horological Machine No2 to rest, but not without a bang. To add to your collection they will bring out the last two sets of limited edition chronographs that too 18 piece each. Even though both new models are based on the original HM2-SV, each has shaped up with its own very distinctive identity. The watches will feature sapphire vision cases. Version 1 called the HM2 Black SV will come with black titanium case back adorned with a green gasket and a green 22k gold rotor. Version 2 called as the HM2 Red SV will spot 18k red gold case back adorned with a black gasket and a red 22k gold rotor. Limited edition Dunhill Sentryman Explorer II pen

A design worthy of well-heeled mountain climbers and adventurers, the limited edition Dunhill Sentryman Explorer II pen comes with a hidden compass, flashlight and interchangeable 18-karat gold fountain, ballpoint and pencil foreparts. The new piece allows the writer to change between fountain pen, ballpoint and pencil with a unique bayonet attachment. Like the original Explorer pen, it also has a luminous ring in the cap to make it easier to locate in the dark. Is it us or are there a whole bunch of great new watch designs coming out these days? Remember TikTok and LunaTik , the iPod Nano conversion project we showed you on the crowd-sourced funding site KickStart? Well today we've got another timepiece project for you, also currently being featured on Kickstart. The Haptica is an innovative timepiece that indicates time using braille. The dots actually rotate on the face of the Haptica and as found and designer David Chavez puts it, represent a major step forward in timepieces for the visually impaired. If the project reaches its $150,000 capital goal, produciton will begin and each will cost around $250. Currently, Haptica has 24 backers and $13,085 secured, so we need to get some major support going here!
