Live Photographs of the Hublot Masterpiece (MP-01)

The upcoming Masterpiece line (and MP-01 model) is a big, big deal for Hublot. Finally answering the calls of not only Hublot critics, but also Hublot collectors, they have announced the release of a totally new product that is completely removed from the Big Bang umbrella. We showed you the press pics a few weeks back, but now here are some live photographs of the MP-01 in the flesh that we found on Chronopassion's new website (which looks fantastic, btw).

Whats a wedding without extravagance? Swarovski certainly agrees. The Austrian crystal giant has created a bejewelled wedding cake that is sure to set your mouth watering and your eyes aglitter. Introducing the Haptica Braille Watch, Now Get Donating!

Is it us or are there a whole bunch of great new watch designs coming out these days? Remember TikTok and LunaTik , the iPod Nano conversion project we showed you on the crowd-sourced funding site KickStart? Well today we've got another timepiece project for you, also currently being featured on Kickstart. The Haptica is an innovative timepiece that indicates time using braille. The dots actually rotate on the face of the Haptica and as found and designer David Chavez puts it, represent a major step forward in timepieces for the visually impaired. If the project reaches its $150,000 capital goal, produciton will begin and each will cost around $250. Currently, Haptica has 24 backers and $13,085 secured, so we need to get some major support going here! The Eterna Kon Tiki Concept Diver: A True Modern Classic, For Sale

In the popular (read: crowded and too often boring) dive watch market it seems that some of the most popular recent ( and upcoming ) releases have been trips down horological memory lane. One such stand out of 2010 was the reissue of the 1973 Kon Tiki Super , from Eterna, a great brand with a long history (they founded ETA before selling it to the Swatch Group). The Eterna weve found for you today was first seen in 2005 and is also called a Kon Tiki. Say hello to the radically styled and technically impressive Kon Tiki Concept diver. Its most notable feature is its flip out case; the PVD titanium container pivots out from the skeletonized steel bridge. Why go to all this fuss? Well, aside from being pretty nifty in its own rights, its all about the bezel. You can only move the bidirectional internal bezel when the watch is flipped open, when in the bridge its solid as a rock.
